Juoksengi – Svanstein – Juoksengi 22,6 km

Visit to Svanstein and Dränglängan. Made also a visit to my friends Irene and Bo. Fast trip back to Juoksengi, was very tired afterwards. Where is the energy?

There was swans and lot of other birds in Svanstein. The name of this village comes from the names of two persons in the 18:th century, SVANberg and STEINholtz. They where involved in mining and ironworks in this area. The name of the village on the Finnish side of the border is Turtola, usually the villages on both side of the river have the same name, but not in this case.
